2. Exercise- Don’t think you have to do a strenuous, hour-long workout at the gym everyday, but getting some regular active movement in each day is important for your health, and effects how your body looks. Even just doing some sit-ups or squats daily can help to tone your stomach and your bottom. Try other activities like yoga, jump-roping, hula-hooping, running, biking or walking to help you feel better and get in shape.
3. Take Care of Your Skin- With all the tanning, burning, and other elements on our skin during the summer, it can really do a number on us. So it’s important to take proper care of your skin to keep it from getting damaged. Make sure to always put sunscreen on to avoid getting bad burns. It’s fun to go tanning, but remember that too much of it can cause wrinkles and other dangers later on in life, so don’t go overboard. And make sure to exfoliate your skin to remove the dead layers, with products that have ingredients like sugar and Shea butter.
4. Find YOUR bikini!- Not every girl has the same figure, and so not every girl wears the same bikini. Whether you are tall or short, big or small, you are beautiful. The important thing is to find the bikini that accentuates YOUR figure in a way that makes you feel attractive and comfortable. So go shopping for what looks good on you. Don’t worry about the tag size; finding the right outfit that fits you like a glove is more important than trying to fit into a style that’s not for you. Don’t be shy to ask the attendants what would look good on you; or you can bring along honest and kind friends to help you find what you like best. The most important thing is confidence, so get what makes you feel good.
Sometimes society tries to tell us girls that certain body types are beautiful while others aren’t. But beauty goes so much beyond the Hollywood sterotypes, and when you feel confident in how you look and you know what is right for you, your confidence will shine out of you and make you that much more lovely.
