The world awaits with growing impatience the official release of the second movie in the Hunger Games series: Catching Fire. A story meant to bring back one of the most favorite female characters from the last years – KatnissEverdeen and one of the most promising young – gen actresses to keep us charmed – Jennifer Lawrence. This second movie will also bring back an all-star cast display, including Liam Hemsworth, Lenny Kravitz, Donald Sutherland, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci and Woody Harrelson, but also new faces, such as Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Jena Malone and Sam Claflin.
We all know the second movie’s story and if you read the book, it should be just more interesting to watch: Katniss and Peeta will be back into the arena, after doing all their best to adjust to the dramatic events they went through in the first part.
If you wonder what Coldplay has to do with this movie franchise, if you’re a fan of both the band and the movies, you should be happy to know that after a two – years break, the British band released a new song and a new video clip, especially written for Catching Fire. Hollywood Reporter covers the news with a joyful attitude, probably because many people missed a new Coldplay song and a video just like they manage to create.
Atlas is the name of the ballad and will be featured on the movie’s soundtrack. It is a slow song and a dramatic one in the same time, and you can even see the clip online for the moment. The song was recorded in the band’s studio in London at the beginning of this year and we can bet our bows that after the movie premiere, there will be no TV music channel to not heavy rotate the music video for everybody to enjoy, so keep your remote control at hand and use wisely the newest Time Warner Cable NYC deals or any similar package in your area, because you will need them. Coldplay has an incredible talent to become viral in every media and that was the case with last year’s video they released – Hurts Like Heaven, which made it to the Bilboard tops in the blink of an eye. Coldplay is not the only band involved in the movie industry, because if you remember correctly, actor and singer Jared Leto (30 Seconds To Mars) wrote songs for John Carter and Insidious: Chapter 2 and he didn’t do a bad job at all.
So while now the world is catching fire and barely keeping from stomping the ground in deep impatience, Jennifer Lawrence proves once again that she is not only a talented actress, but also a very beautiful young woman. Her second Dior campaign portrays her without make-up (or just a barely seeable dash) and the creative director at Dior confessed he was struck by her natural and elegant beauty and by her powerful and charming personality. So when she’s not impersonating a young-rebel-killing-people-or-fighting-for-social-causes teenager, Jennifer campaigns for Christian Dior and works to build a solid career in the movie industry.
